Tip #2

I saw on "The Doctors" yesterday that Soda Pop is the number one worst thing to ingest (in their opinion).  I shared that with a group of 8/9 year olds today and they were in horror.  One little girl asked, "Does that include Root Beer?"  Carbonation dissolves acid off a car battery.  My husband drank 3 Dr. Peppers at dinner tonight and I was in horror.  Luckily Soda Pop is not my vice.  I force myself to drink a Coke once a year to avoid being unamerican, but it's not only the caffeine and sugar that is bad---it's the bubbles.  Soda's also dehydrate the body which is harmful on so many levels, but water is boring.  I came up with an healthy alternative to sodas and sugary drinks for my husband I hope you will enjoy.  Fill a 16 oz glass with purified water and add lemon stevia drops or one packet of stevia, and one packet of true lemon (at Harmon's).  It's surprisingly refreshing.  If you want to take the health benefit one step further add them to decaffeinated green tea.  Very soothing before bed without the bitter after taste.
